Efficient Drainage at Winvic Construction’s Newport Pagnell Warehouses

West Siphonics Ensures Efficient Drainage at Winvic Construction’s Newport Pagnell Warehouses

West Siphonics Systems Ltd has successfully completed the installation of over 7,300 meters of siphonic rainwater drainage pipework at two new warehouses constructed by Winvic Construction Ltd in Newport Pagnell. This high-performance system is designed to ensure effective and sustainable rainwater management across the large-scale site.

Utilizing siphonic drainage, which operates under negative pressure, we were able to deliver a solution that minimizes the number of downpipes and removes the need for steep gradients.

This approach not only accelerates installation time but also provides significant space-saving benefits, allowing the site to remain efficient and functional.

Our collaboration with Winvic Construction Ltd allowed us to create a tailored drainage system that effectively meets the demands of the new warehouse facilities, enhancing water flow while reducing material usage. The result is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly system that contributes to the overall sustainability of the project.

With extensive experience in siphonic technology, West Siphonics Systems Ltd continues to lead the way in delivering innovative, reliable rainwater drainage solutions for large-scale commercial and industrial developments.

High-Performance Drainage at ICT UK’s New Paper Mill

West Siphonics Delivers High-Performance Drainage at ICT UK’s New Paper Mill

West Siphonics Systems Ltd recently completed the installation of an advanced siphonic rainwater drainage system at ICT UK’s new paper mill in Deeside. Working alongside Northern Cladding Ltd, we installed approximately 7,615 meters of siphonic pipework, ensuring efficient and reliable roof drainage for this large-scale industrial facility.

Unlike conventional gravity systems, siphonic drainage operates under negative pressure, rapidly drawing water from the roof with fewer downpipes and no need for sloping pipe runs.

This allowed us to design a system that optimizes space, reduces material usage, and improves flow rates—critical for a site of this scale.

By working closely with Northern Cladding Ltd and other project stakeholders, we tailored a solution that meets the paper mill’s specific demands while enhancing overall sustainability and cost efficiency.

With decades of experience in siphonic technology, West Siphonics Systems Ltd continues to set the standard for innovative, high-performance rainwater management solutions.

Lutterworth, Magna Park

Lutterworth GLP MPN5 Magna Park

West Siphonics have recently completed the installation of circa 7,000m of Siphonic rainwater drainage pipework on the GLP MPN5 unit at Magna Park, Lutterworth, for our friends at Winvic Construction. The unit is an impressive 383m x 177m in size and boasts an overall roof area of circa 68,000m². Based on the geographical location of the building and the rainfall criteria stated in the building specification, at peak storm events, the siphonic drainage systems on this project will be removing over 4,800 litres of water every second.
