Our very own Fabulous Four (Emily is taking the picture) have donated over £100 of products to The Hygiene Bank in Rotherham.
The Hygiene Bank is a charity dedicated to helping some of the 6.5 million people in the UK who go without basic hygiene essentials. Our donation is to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Back in July 2023, West Siphonics Systems was appointed to design, supply and install the Siphonic rainwater drainage to a new development in Lutterworth. The project comprised of 3 Nr large warehouses equating to a vast gross internal area of over 56,000m2 or, 603,000 square feet in old money!
Our scope of works also included the Siphonic rainwater drainage to the office areas, where all internal pipework was thermally insulated to prevent condensation from forming on the pipework in the warm office spaces.
The Siphonic design consisted of both primary and secondary systems. On 2 of the 3 units, it was possible to discharge all the water to one end of the building. This resulted in a large saving in terms of underground drainage requirements and subsequently, improving on the initial construction programme timescales.
Over 6,000 metres of pipework were installed and the project was completed in December 2023.
